WSSA Snow show in Puyallup. It is always a great time. Many club members bring their Rv's and camp out for the weekend. We are considering a club booth this year to promote our membership as well as unload some swap meet items. Come down and join the fun.

November 15-16 2008, Avy class at Sedro Woolley Fire Station

Avalanche Awareness Course
The couse will consist of two parts. Part one will be classroom work and will cover the "HUMAN FACTORS" related to snowmobiling. The second part will be hands-on training with your beacon.
Location: Sedro-Woolley Fire Station
Dates: November 15, 2008 and November 16, 2008 (same 8 hour course offered twice)
Time: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Cost: NWGC Members $50 per person $100 Per Family
Non club members $75 per person
(HINT - Become a member for no additional charge)
Registration: Send an email to thuisman@olypen.com to register. Please include your name, address, phone number and the date you prefer to take the course. (Note the Saturday class must be full before you will be able to register for the Sunday class. Class size is limited, so please sign up early.)

March 7th 2009 Family Mt. Baker Area Playday

Our annual club playday at Schrieber's Meadow for the whole family. Games, Prizes, Challenges, Races and BBQ in the snow. Don't miss it. Details and exact time location to come. We'd like to make this a ride for all levels especially the kids. Help of any kind would be greatly appreciated in organizing this event. Please contact Mike or myself if you are interested in helping us out. Many of us will be camping out that Friday evening.
Will also include a poker run.

April 4th, 2008 3rd Annual Extreme Mt. Baker Mountain Top BBQ
|
|
This will be the event of the year and the clubs biggest fundraiser of the year. Come enjoy the clubs incredible BBQ way up on the mountain and watch the insanity as locals duke it out on the hill for bragging rights and fun. This event will be catered to the extreme but will be done to include most all levels of riding so don't miss it. We really work hard to include everyone. More details to come.

April 20th Big Dawg Shootout
|

The Big Dawg is the event of the year for the majority of mountain riders from the States and Canada. It is held on the Saturday in Pemberton, BC which is about 30 minutes north of Whistler. You've all seen the extreme videos and it's at events like this that they are filmed. An event not to be missed and the most amazing backdrop you will ever experience. Book your hotel rooms early.
